My Story, in Color

After building a career in business, I realized the part of me asking for attention had never changed. Art quietly followed me through every meeting, email, and phone call, patiently waiting for me to come back. I never dreamed of spending my days on a beach. I dreamed of spending them at an easel.

As a child, I loved drawing and making things with my hands. My mother taught me how to plant and tend a flower garden, nurturing an appreciation for color, light, and the quiet beauty found in nature. Those early experiences shaped not only what I love to paint, but also the way I see.

I've learned not to rush past the things that catch my eye. A shaft of light across a flower, weathered layers of ancient stone, or a resilient plant growing where it seems impossible can stop me in my tracks. Those moments of discovery often become the beginning of a painting. Today, I create art that celebrates beauty, invites wonder, and encourages people to pause long enough to truly see the world around them.
